Only 44 minutes: The SARS‑CoV‑2 Pooling test for up to fifteen samples
Extensive testing helps quickly identifying even asymptomatic patients. With our PCR-based pooling test for SARS‑CoV‑2, efficiency increases substantially.
Fifteen samples, one cartridge
In order to contain the pandemic, it is often necessary to test asymptomatic populations where the number of people expected to have an infection is low, for example employees in medical facilities. With the SARS-CoV-2 Pooling test, a large number of tests can be carried out in very short time – directly on site.
The Vivalytic SARS-CoV-2 Pooling test is a PCR-based test for detecting the SARS-CoV-2 pathogen. With just one cartridge, up to five nasopharyngeal and/or oropharyngeal samples or up to fifteen lolly-saliva swab samples can be tested at the same time. If the result is negative, this means all pooled samples tested negative. If the result is positive, the samples must be retested individually.
Due to the easy handling and the fact that the manual preparation of the samples is no longer necessary, the Vivalytic Analyser is particularly suitable for use directly at the point of need. The fifteen samples are simply pipetted into the cartridge, which is then inserted into the Vivalytic Analyser. After that, the test starts automatically.
